Drum Workshop with Mr. Ole Andre From Norway

Ole Andre , an extremely versatile drummer from Norway conducted a drum workshop on March 27, 2011  at Nepal Music Center .  He is associated with a Metal band in Norway but has been playing different styles such as Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Rock, Modern Rock, Blues, swing, Afro Cuban etc. He has also collaborated with many studio artists from Oslo and other parts of Norway.  Here are some video of that workshop

The final preparation for Deccan Rock 2011 is finally finished.This year Deccan Rock is going to be more special than previous version of Deccan Rock .Deccan Rock 2011 is special for Nepali Metal Fans residing in India.Antim Grahan is representing Deccan Rock 2011 from Nepal. Antim Grahan is one of succesful and oldest metal band of Nepal. This is first time Antim Grahan performing in India. Antim Grahan will be playing in the first day of Deccan Rock 2011 dated on 6th of May.Before moving to Deccan Rock ,ktmROCKS have designed a poster of Antim Grahan for this event.Antim Grahan is proud to be a part of Deccan Rock 2011. Antim Grahan will be more energetic their performance for their first tour in India.They are very much excited for sharing same stage with polish metal band Decapitated.

Nepali Underground Concert "Beneath The Silence" 2011

After the ktmROCKS " Ides of March Concert" on last metal month March, new important underground concert didnot happened till today . Now for this month of April, Nepali Underground Fans came up with another underground Concert for nepali underground scene fans.The Name of the gig is "Beneath The Silence". Organized by GothBook,Its on 30 th April 2011 at the Hive Resto Bar opposite to New Bhat Bhateni Supermarket,Maharjgung.Ticket is 100 rs Before 30th April and will be charged 150 rs on the Concert Day.The concert will start 2pm on wards. "Beneath the Silence" is supported by ktmROCKS.Due to Board exam of plus two student by the end of this month, organizer are little scared for students not attending in this Concert. Any ways Be There If possible it will refresh your tedious Dimag studying whole month.

Karmavalanche was one of the impressive band in the underground SCENE of Nepal. They called themselves as Progressive Nepali Rock Band. Now the band is inactive. The past members were  Guitar and vocals Bibhushan Basnet,Keyboards Abhisekh Bhadra,Percussions Prasanna Rana,Drums Allan Shrestha and Bass Bob Dennis Benjamin.

Brutal Pokhara Launches Ezine For First Time

Brutal Pokhara is a group of metal head from pokhara,Nepal.Brutal Pokhara presents themselves as medium for publishing ,organizing concerts/gigs,news printing ,record label for the underground SCENE of Pokhara specially as well as in other parts of Nepal. They have organized few gigs in pokhara in last few months. One of the gig they organized was Butcher the Values.



Currently They came with a E-magazine(Ezine) of 95 pages.Its the second electronic magazine in the underground SCENE of Nepal. ktmROCKS is the first to publish such kind of emagazine in local SCENE of Nepal. Till Now ktmROCKS have published 8 e magazine.You can find 8th (latest) issue of ktmROCKS Emag in this site.

White is Rock and Roll band formed in kathmandu in 2010.White includes Anil Dhital (of E.quals,Vhumi) in guitar,Susant Bista in vocals,Subash Poudel in Bass and Sahil Risal in Drums.Present scenario of Nepali underground scene is that most of the newly formed band are metalcore,metal genre so White Band unique in underground Scene of Nepal.They did awesome performance in ktmROCKS 10th Year Anniversary Gig " Ides of March " .I have collected two songs of white from their ReverbNation of good quality(128kbps) studio version. I grabbed two songs SEX( Poweful Track perfromed in Ides of March) and Wanna Kill My Darling Tonight (Jammed up at kantipur Fm Programed Few Months Ago).Also I have kept live version of kamasutra performed at Ides of March.The best part of White is their lyrics rounds around Drug, Sex and Rock & Roll.
